I pulled this old typewriter out of storage and it worked! It had not been used since the early 90's, the ribbon worked perfectly too. So I thought, why not get extra ribbons while they're still being made! For writing, well, I love using typewriters!

The daisy wheel in this package was junk and I could not use it at all. It is bad enough that the price on these items for a typewriter are so, so expensive and you know they under a dollar in product costs to make. The daisy wheel in this package if compared to the one that comes with the typewriter orginally, is thin, very, very cheaply made. As per instructions, you are supposed to line up two dots on the wheel when inserting it into your typewriter....I did this over 10 times trying to get it to "notch in" so it would type the correct letters with the corresponding keys. It wouldn't line up, and sometimes the daisy wheel wouldn't even rotate while typing....I will now only seek out the Broughman daisy wheels for my Brother typewriter, and to be honest...I have a manual 1936 typewriter on it's way. Truth is...they don't make them like they used to. Everything these days, complete junk made of plastic and parts like the daisywheel are an arm and a leg to get. So I will go back in time, when people really cared about the product they make and they weren't mass produced. Good Luck....

the replacement three cartridges are fine. the erasing tape is rather useless to me since my ml4000 allows for pre viewing words before they are printed. however the primary reason for my purchase was thr print wheel. it is broken. all it does is print the symbols intended for alturnative tpye NOT AT ALL THE NORMAL ENGLISH WORDING one would use daily. i tried to return tt. i was told it had to go directly to the distributor. i am sick of this crap. i paid 30 bucks for three ribbons and nothing else. done with amazon. mkr.

Purchased based on user manual indication supplied with Brother typewriter purchased from Amazon. Although the ribbons and lift off tape were fine, the script wheel did not fit the typewriter! I would not recommend this kit if your priority is the script wheel.

My only vendetta with this product is it's quite expensive.
