Works exactly as expected. Connected two mono ports on one end to a stereo port on another. You can use it to split a stereo guitar to separate effect pedals, join two line inputs to a stereo input, or use it for the "effects loop" ports on your soundboard.

I use this cable to go from my keyboard's headphone out to my amp's L & R inputs. Gets the job done without having to attach a separate cable splitter. Been using it for several months now, without any problems. Does exactly what I need it to do.

Been reading most of the user questions and i guess it wasn't answered so i bought this anyways. For those who have a synth or musical device that has 2 mono signals, this will put them into the one connector. My problem? Well my audio interface has mono inputs so it only uses one of the sides, so if i plug it in one way and i hear the bullt in rythms, then i plug it it in the other way red in left, black in right mono outputs and i hear more synth lead. So although the cable is a 5 star hosa cable, for an audio interface this doesn't work I kept thinking the audio interface could take stereo inputs, but it doesn't.. It needs to be a mono input on the single side. I wasn't planning on using this to record, just to listen on my monitors, so i didn't care if it was a combined mono signal, but since it only gets one side, for me this cables a 3. But of course, it does it's job and is a 5 star cable for a 1 stereo/2 mono trs/ts 1/4" plug cables, so for other users dont worry, it's a quality cable.

This cable does its job. its sturdy and flexible.
The price and plastic appearance gives it a cheap feeling (comparing to others with metal plug), but the sound coming out of it is indistinguishable from the more expensive cables sold by other companies.

I use it to hook up my Fishman reverb pedal to LR Baggs Para DI's effect loop. The length of this cable is perfect for linking just one pedal.

These do the job, but we never expected them to last. So far not one issue with them. Yes, there are high quality cables out there in these configurations for audio applications, but these will certainly do the job if you need them and they won't break the bank!

Hosa makes outstanding, high quality cables. I have several sets of cables and adapters from this company and can state that their quality control is excellent. Like any good cable, they don't have a "sound", but transfer the signal cleanly with no changes or added noise. You can spend a lot more, but there will be no improvement over these cables, be it rca to rca, XLR mic cables, or any of the Hosa products, they will be top quality and more than a fair price.

I use this cable for stereo splitting with musical instruments - for example, sending the stereo output of a guitar to separate effects pedals/amps - and it works really well for that purpose. Sounds great, convenient length, recommended!

Very good TRS stereo breakout cable. The mono ends are clearly and correctly marked for Ring (Red, Right-channel, Return) and Tip (White, Left-channel, Send). The plugs fit snugly and make good contact. Nickel plated. I prefer Planet Waves, but there's no reason to fault these for anything. They work fine.
