However, the performance of this is incredible for my application. I have a 2010 Dodge Challenger with a Infinity Reference 5350a 5 channel amp running this thing. It is perfect! I do not have the bass all the way up as I do not need my door panel to rattle off. The looks are fantastic, looks just like nitrous is installed in your car.

Sounds good for a car gives u the bass you need don't make your trunk sound like its farting... But if u have an SUV or truck or anything with a open trunk do not buy get something better like a pioneer or JL

Cant speak to how it sounds because I couldnt get past the looks. The cheap plastic chrome stem and shiny braided wire cover dont look good nor real. Also beware this is the non amplified version (NOS8) so dont expect an NOS8A (amplified). It it BIG, but only requires a few inches from the speaker to work properly which should make it easy to install. The retaining straps are black plastic and thin metal.

If you are looking for a little more bass than what your average 6.5" subs will put out then I'de highly recommend any 8" sub. If you run a decent amp with these Bazooka subs it sounds like a decent 10" sub. I have mine wired in to the stock Monsoon amp in my Trans Am, this amp is only rated for around 300w and the two 6.5" mids in the rear passenger area get most of that. I wired the Bazooka as a replacement for the right side mid and have it facing a left rear corner. It doesnt rattle your teeth but you definitely get a decent little thump and it sounds great to me. I aslo get a kick out of the nitrous bottle design, I am always looking to do something different with my car and I like this a lot. At car washes, cruise ins, or where ever, I always get asked about it and get a good laugh over it. I kind of feel like a poser with it in there but I still get a kick out of it.
