These are great if you want to make flash cards, but you are like me and don't care to hand write them all. I use images from my online textbooks and sometimes the definitions from those textbooks as well. Using the envelopes and labels option in word, I am able to easily format these, and print them out. For double sided use, I just flip over the stack and get answer and question on the same card. This is cheaper for me than purchasing pre-made flash cards, and they are durable enough for me to pass on when I am finished with them.

As a current medical student, flash cards save me a great deal of time when I am reviewing. This product, especially at this price is one with which I am greatly pleased.

We included these as accommodation cards in our wedding invitations. They're off-white, so they didn't 'go' perfectly, but they looked fine and we didn't care. They're very sturdy and easy to print on. Highly recommend!

Printer Paper Avery 3x5 Index Cards / B00006HPWA

I bought these for use with my AccuChef recipe program to hold and store recipes, and I'm very happy with them. The paper works flawlessly with my printer (Canon PIXMA MX860 Wireless All-In-One office Printer), and the perforated edges make it easy to detach the cards after printing. The cards can be printed on front and back, which is perfect for large recipes.

Do note that you need to fill up all three index cards before detaching them, or else you'll end up wasting the empty ones - my printer, at least, isn't set up to just take in one card - it has to be a full sheet.

Recipe cards are so expensive and the quality can be 'iffy.' After hours of wasted time and research, I bought these. I downloaded the template, added my own border and formatting, and printed them out. They worked great!

TIP: Use "add text" box and download the blank template so you can add your own style and images/logos/initials!

I have been using Avery products for years in my home publishing business and crafts. While templates provided to accompany some stock are a smidge off here or there, it's nothing an experienced user can't figure out how to fix. These index cards are very handy to print recipes, student flash cards, speech notes, and much more.

These sheets work well in my printer and I have so far, after 4 separate printings, not had any problems with paper or Avery form code.

Several reviews noted the large amount of wasted paper. They're are right, but if that's your problem, I suggest using a different form or a do-it-yourself format. I like this size because I can use a large font to meet the at-a-glance requirements of my older eyesight.

Using them mostly for address cards, there is plenty of room for basic info AND (front or back) extra info I might want to include, such as work #'s, family members, emergency contacts, etc.

As for wasted paper consideration, we recycle everything our community allows, also taking advantage of reusables, etc. Given that, we will sometimes accept some "waste"; it can usually be recycled.

This is perfect for my needs and I consider it a good buy.

I've been a user of 3 x 5 cards for decades. There's always a stack of them in my shirt pocket, though I do admit to not using them consistently.

Right now, I'm working on a project that requires me to catalog dozens of snippets from various sources and then integrate them into my writing. Typical outlining programs won't handle this well, so it's back to the index cards. Fortunately, one of my outlining programs handles output to the Avery cards.

You can also use them with Microsoft Word, FileMaker, Access and any other program that lets you format your print output.

These things tear neatly and accept laser or inkjet output.

Brutally expensive when compared to ordinary index cards, but incomparably handy. Worth the price when you need a foolproof method of printing index cards. The regular ones often don't get along with some - actually many - printers.
