I've used many standard 'open folder' style folders, this 'envelope' style is sure a wonderful option for certain applications where one just doesn't want little slips of paper to fall out, or one doesn't want to reveal the entire folder contents at a meeting.
Even, yes, accessing folder contents, outdoors, on a windy day, or to avoid getting bumped and dropping contents, the extra safety of the envelope style is worth it to me.

I'll still use the 'open folder' style folders in many cases.
But be sure that I will use this 'envelope' style more frequently.

Good quality, nice "grab" access notch, plenty of room to add a label, or write your own label, good size.

I love these file folders. They are great quality. I can fill them up with many ideas, notes, and different sized papers and they don't fall out. They also stack real nice when I am working on my project so they don't slip off of one another. I am very happy for this purchase.

I love the file jackets. I have a tax business and I have used them for years and tried to go cheap last year because they are getting so high in price. The hassle of a regular manila folder was not worth the savings. So I decided to try Amazon and the price was very good compared to the brick and mortar stores for the quantity I purchased.

Use these jackets to contain all the documents required in the complete patient record, without having to punch documents and insert them over those metal spears. They are rugged and hold quite a few pages. The occasional record that gets too bulky for these folders goes into a pleated folder. The knife-edge ends are good for applying alpha or date labels to track currency. Amazon's price for the bulk quantity is far better that I can find elsewhere online.

Couldn't find these pocket folders in the brick & mortar stores, glad I was able to find 'em here. They're what you expect. I like these pocket folders for holding certain documents; those open-faced folders don't cut it for me sometimes.

We had file envelopes made out of slightly heavier white paper than copier paper, and they were perfect for keeping booking documents together in our travel agency.

This was the only thing we could find, after extensive searching. To heavy, but adequate to the task.

These were exactly what we wanted to order to have printed up to use for our job jackets. But the side we intended to print on was already covered with a stamp with the manufacturer info. We modified our printing and used the other side and it has worked ok but a completely blank folder would have been more convenient. Otherwise they seem to be good quality and should work for us.
