The AMPAD Evidence Pastel is a great practice pad for pointed pen nibs. It is very smooth and let your nib glides over the paper letting your ink sits on top of the sheet and not bleeding into the paper. This is a 5 star practice pad for pointed pen nibs.

Purple legal pads have been hard for me to find. These are exactly what one would want if one has a portfolio that uses legal pads and wants purple ones! The paper is thick enough but not so thick that I feel I'm being wasteful to throw out a page. Good price, too. A find for purple lovers:-)

I don't like writing on white or yellow pads, and blue and green have become very difficult to find in office supply stores. The blue Ampads are slightly darker than I prefer, and are darker than they appear on the web, but are still excellent. (I think the Green Tint was not offered when I bought these, or I might have bought it.)

I bought a 12-pack of Ampad paper about a year ago and it was awesome. This stuff is closer to construction paper than it is binder paper. Some people may like this, but I am not one of those people.
- Dull color
- Flat matte
- Not smooth

It also came in a plastic bag that wasn't shrink wrapped, so the first ten pages of each pad were wrinkled. I recommend not buying this.

I had been using these Ampads in various colors for years, using a large supply I'd bought ... years ago. These pads were great - though I never thought about it much. I took for granted a smooth, silky writing surface, hues that were subtle and pleasing to the eye, and sheets that tore off smoothly at the perforated line. A simple thing that worked well. I do a great deal of writing on paper. I was unprepared for the incredible deterioration in quality when I ordered recently - the paper is heavier and coarser, the hues are crude (the grey is dead, rather than pearly), and the sheets never tear off evenly! Very annoying! I would NEVER purchase these again if I could find a good alternative. Very disappointing: Ampad is the standard. The standard now seems to be ... really low.

I wanted an orchid-colored paper and ordered a pack of Ampad pads. The color was a disappointment. It is a grayish blue that is fine, but not what I consider to be orchid (i.e., a light lavender); yes, I know that a grayish blue is part of the orchid spectrum, but the color is dull. The paper, however, is very good quality, and if you are not fussy about color, you won't be disappointed.

This may seem like nothing, just blue pads of paper, but to keep your desk organized these are essential. With all of the white paper that goes by my desk I needed something that would stand out. Blue paper does the trick. I keep this next to my laptop and use it all day long. Having a pad of paper that isn't white helps me to keep track of it and stay organized. If I need to rip out pages the blue paper doesn't get lost among the white paper. Worth a try, right?

Totally disappointed. The blue color is not what is shown in the picture. It is too dark and will hurt your eyes when using it. I wish Amazon had not misrepresented the color. I didn't get it returned in time so now I am stuck with
unusable junk. I'm having to return too many things this past 6 months. It's getting time to find another online store.
