Style Name: Round Cake Pan

I ordered two of these for the purpose of making layer cakes. The pans are just as described in the official description. What mislead me were customer comments that I found to be innaccurate.
Firstly, someone asked a question on here about the sides and whether they are straight rather than slanted. A few other customers answered saying the sides are straight. I'm here to tell you that they're not. Granted, it's a very slight slant, but that still registers as not straight, technically. So if it matters to you to have 100% straight sides for maximum even cake-building, this might not be the right pan for you.
Secondly, in several customer reviews, people have made reference to fitted plastic lids, which I did not find in my box. Since a lid was not mentioned in the product description, I don't blame the seller. Unless, of course, they're throwing in free lids to customers at random, which I don't think would be fair. My guess is that somehow, the reviews for this product are mixed with the reviews for another listing of this product which does include a lid. In any case, I was half-expecting there to be lids included with my pans, and there were not, which makes me half-disappointed.

Style Name: Square Cake Pan
I do not recommend this pan. I bought mine about a year ago. I chose Farberware because I have Farberware stainless steel saucepans that I'm happy with. I have not put this pan in the dishwasher, and when I bake in it, I cut what I bake with a plastic knife. The nonstick coating has degraded and I've become concerned that it may leech into my food. UGH!
