This is so pointless..., May 14, 2003
Alright, i'll admit i liked 50 CENT'S cd GET RICH OR DIE TRYIN but this is ridiculous! That song In Da Club gets played 40-50 times every day on the radio, so does 21 Questions and Wanksta. Now that 50 CENT has released 2 cds in the past year (yes 2, remember Guess Who's Back?) he's releasing this thing. The New Breed is just a 3-track CD with a DVD, the same DVD u got if u bought one of the first 500,000 copies of Get Rich. How stupid is that?? The songs on the 3-track cd aren't even that good. I borrowed the CD from a friend & just burned it, forget spending 20 or more bucks on this thing when u could buy a whole album for not even that much of a price! Before u buy New Breed, check out 50 CENT's old material, mabye even some Eminem OR Dre, just don't spend ur 20 bucks on a 3-track CD and a pointless DVD.

Not Enough Good Stuff, May 4, 2004
This DVD with a bonus CD is simply not worth the price. It is interesting if you're a fan of 50 Cent. The version I'm writing about says clean version but my copy isn't clean. There's a lot of back and forth between 50 and his crew, interviews, studio sessions, and interviews. Most of it is 50 and his friends smoking dope and acting silly, which is fine, but I found it quite boring and at times banal. The best parts of the DVD are the music videos and the live performance in Detroit, where Eminem makes and appearance. The songs on the bonus CD are not much of a bonus. Overall, not really worth the $$$.

It's Not A CD, It's A DVD With Bonus CD, November 29, 2003
I don't really know why the bad reviews for this DVD here at Amazon.com, because I think it was hot, really good. You can get these videos: ~ In Da Club, the best one, big-budget videoclip, awesome, with a lot of famous rappers like XZibit, Eminem and Dr Dre. ~ Wanksta, the single from 8Mile Movie Soudtrack, a hot videoclip. ~ Heat, a videoclip in computer / video-game style, the song itself isn't that good. ~ Heat: Street Version, same song as the last one, but with no real computer effects. You can get the Behind-The-Scenes from both Wanksta and In Da Club videos. The Behind the Scenes includes people like Busta Rhymes, Eminem, Dr. Dre, XZibit, D12, the whole G-Unit (Tony Yayo, 50 Cent, Llyod Banks), among others. There is a documentary about 50 Cent's career, about how he met Eminem, about the shooting, everything you wanted to know about 50. You also get six songs from a Shady Records show in Detroit, they are: Not Like Me, Wanksta, Patiently Waiting, Love Me, Rap Game and In Da Club. Plus the show's Making-Of, which, like the show, is hot. The bonus materials are: 8Mile DVD Trailer, plus Wanksta, In Da Club and Round Here, sung like in a rehearsal. And, if that wasn't enough, you also get a CD with three previously unreleased tracks by 50Cent / G-Unit. Well, if you want to buy this product only because of the CD, then it's not a great deal, but if you really want to have some fun with the Behind The Scenes, know more about 50 and have his videoclips with high quality image in your DVD collection, look no further. I've highly enjoyed Get Rich Or Die Trying album, and this DVD is a great companion for it. I highly recommend this title.
