They have a 1x2 inch segment that says "TOPS FORM 33041 / MADE IN USA" on EVERY page. Complete waste of space that totally ruins the bottom left-hand corner of the page. Unbelievable.

seriously, it's almost funny. what could go wrong with a pad of graph paper? I do most of my design work on 10x10 graph pads. Not too picky about paper type etc (i buy vellum when that matters).

Surprise! OK sure, it's got 10 line per inch squares, but there are NOT the customary -- universal -- heavier/darker line every inch. It's just a grid of tiny innumerable squares. All graph pads are patterned with a relatively heavy line on a 1" x 1" grid, with the minor lines -- 10 x 10, 4 x 4, etc -- as finer, lighter lines. THE WHOLE POINT of graph paper is to GUIDE YOU in proportions. Sheesh.

Second, the glue binding is craptacular, on at least the one pad I got it is impossible to tear out sheets cleanly, no matter how careful I am.

Luckily, I got only one as a test of the Top brand for < $4 (not the $7-something shown above). For that much I'll get Staedler or something. (Bienfang is a decent inexpensive brand I'll seek out next time).

Oh yeah, it's Made in America. YAY! :/

I was really excited about this paper. As an engineering student I am often in a situation where a professor just plunks down a stack of graded homework and the class has to stampede the pile to find their papers. In these situations having distinctive paper is really an advantage to finding your paper quickly in the sea of graph papers.

Having had 5 star graph paper with it's annoying different sizes on each side of the paper I liked the consistent small squares of the graph paper a lot. I like the small size of the squares also because it helps you write small for situations like when you are allowed to bring a 1 page cheat sheet. They also give more flexibility for diagrams and drawings which I like.

I didn't like the logo being in every page's corner as another reviewer mentioned. And even more, I didn't like that the logo was upside down on the back of every page implying you are to flip the page upside down when you turn it over. But I could live with that.

What I really didn't like is the darkness and thickness of the lines. Though not as dark as the worst I have seen, there is just something about the color and thickness of the lines that makes you feel like you have to press really hard with your pencil because what you're writing competes with the lines for dominance.

Although I am not too bothered to use up the rest of the paper I doubt I would buy it again.

The scale is not accurate. The squares are sligtly larger than they should be, resulting in unacceptable cumulative errors.

It's hard to find the ten squares per inch, 20 lb stock quadrille pads. Unlike some other brands, this one's lines don't smear, even if you get them wet.

For real estate appraisers and designers, 10 per inch beats the competition hands down! This makes calculations and graphing really easy!

Lines on this pad are very sharp and accurate, for routine, draft design work it is perfect. Paper is heavy enough and if you erase lightly lines survive a couple of erasures well enough to still see.

Bought some SKU no. 33051, 5 squares per inch Quadrille Pads. These were exactly what I wanted. On the pads I received, contrary to some previous comments, there was no manufacturer logo or id taking up space on the lower left of the page. They were 100% usable, quadrille-ruled, 8.5" x 11" pads. Each pad comes with a cardboard backer and a one page top product description and pad protector sheet.

This paper indeed has 10 squares per inch, just as advertised. I would recommend this paper to anyone needing graph paper with 10 squares per inch. I think it is a bit overpriced for what it is. I just bought it because I needed a small value item to arrive at a purchase total qualifying for free shipping. In hindsight, I am not sure that makes financial sense, but there you have it.
