Kicking off the excitement of "Super Friends! Month" is the first SUPER FRIENDS! deluxe action figure set featuring the Man of Steel and his archenemy - just as they appeared on the classic animated TV show! SUPERMAN stands approximately 6.5" tall while LEX LUTHOR stands approximately 6.25" tall. Both figures have multiple points of articulation and can be placed on included Super Friends! logo bases (approximately 4" wide x 2" deep x .75" tall). This set also includes a piece of faux Green Kryptonite and Luthor's ray gun (from the animated episode "Super Friends! Wanted: Dead or Alive"). Also included is a miniature model of the villainous Legion of Doom's Hall of Doom (approximately 1.75" tall x 2" wide x 2" deep). Packaged in a newly-designed, full-color window box.

I believe this is the first of the Super Friends set, featuring Superman and his archenemy Lex Luther from the animated television series. Both figures are over 6 inches tall, have the traditional multiple points of articulation, and have bases proclaiming them to be "Super Friends!" (of course, you have to take that with a grain of salt regarding Lex). You also get a piece of Green Kryptonite, Luthor's ray gun, a model of the Legion of Doom's Hall of Doom, and a pair of flat hands for when Superman is flying and needs flat hands instead of fists (more aerodynamically sound). Other pairs in this series include Aquaman and Black Manta, Green Lantern and Sinestro, and Wonder Woman and Cheetah Deluxe. That should keep the fight between good and evil in the DC Universe on an even keel. I suppose if you are fans of the "Super Friends!" that these figures look more like the animated versions that other Superman and Lex Luthor action figures that you could put up on your mantle or over your desk or whatever.
