Needed a GOOD carving knife that didn't break the bank and wasn't part of a set. This fit the bill. The longer tines really help in lifting large pieves of meat and they hold the meat for slices securely. Good brand and good product.

My son-in-law, who is a chef, asked for a carving fork for Christmas. I have purchased Wusthof items before...but usually from a brick and mortar kitchen shop. Couldn't get out this Christmas, so I relied a lot on Amazon.

This fork came in a plastic bag that was clearly marked "MADE IN CHINA." Hmmmmm. I thought it was a German made item. An it was sent in a padded envelope. Period. Imagine placing a fork in a plastic baggie and then placing it in a padded envelope and sending it that way!!!!! I'm not sure this is an authentic Wusthof item. Where is the warranty????? Where is the box?????? I know I spent on $40 on it, but I think I got ripped off.

Amazon...you let me down this time. Don't buy anything from this Amazon partner.
