Did the job for decorating minion cupcakes. Used this to make the smiles and goggle outlines. This does not harden/set though. I stored mine in the fridge and it was still tacky to the touch. Easy to work with.

MUCH easier to write on a cake with this then a different item bought at a grocery store with 4 different tips. This writing was clear and my cake didn't look too amateurish. I will be buying these gel tubes again for future decorating.

These work great but not all of the colors match Wilton icing colors, as Wilton claims. Try before you finalize your decorations. The pink, for example, does not match other pinks; this gel is more of a salmon shade.
As someone else said, these will not dry hard.

I usually prefer to mix my own icing colors but black is really hard to mix - especially if you need a lot of it. The color was indeed black and not a dark gray looking color. It was easy to use. The only problem I had was that the one tube was not enough for what I was using it for and I had to buy another tube (another brand) from the store. The first time I went to the store they were all out, that is why I purchased this decorating gel. I was disappointed in the store bought item. . . the color was not as black as I wanted. Next time I need black icing I will buy it here and order several and not just one tube.

I just needed a few coloring and maybe that is the reason that I bought this. the gel did gave good green color but because it was small it had a limited of uses. I am glad that my cake decorations turned out to be fine and I am happy with it.
