Interesting documentary account of locations and early days pre-travel. Adult or teen level. If you find this an interesting topic, you will enjoy the history of it. I would not necessarily recommend it as a way to create interest.

Not to be liked by Marxist revisionists and other Politically Correct ideologues who want to remove the great foundation of Christian belief from our country. Not to be endured by self-serving adults who cater to spoiled children that have been corrupted by media to only have a two-second attention span until the artificially produced conditioning of so-called "ADD" makes them demand another course of eye-candy. On the other hand, those who wish to broaden their minds, those who wish to experience a slice of life through other people's viewpoints, those who care more about ideas and understanding why people do what they do instead of merely feeding addiction to fast-action explosions and SFX, then this film is for you.

It is not for those who only want to feed blind Progressive hatred of America, but it is for those who wish to substantiate further a justifiable patriotic pride in our great nation. Even I learned some things watching it! And that says a lot. I finished its viewing inspired to continue the grand story in which we are to play our part (and that is a main reason why subversives hate it). Go ahead and do yourself some good watching it; you'll be glad you did.

I got this to share with my fourth graders. This video is extremely boring. Over half of it is filled with an older English Professor lecturing about the Mayflower Voyage. There are some interesting pictures, and some good information. However most, children and adults alike, will find this one of the most boring educational videos every viewed!

Although this documentary had good information, it was dry and monotone. I had hoped it would be a good reinforcement for our homeschool, but even I was not excited to watch it. This is history taught as I remember as a child - dull and monotone; not as I have come to love history as an adult.

This video is a great start. The founding of the United States of America is truly a story to know and understand. The awesomeness of the story of it's humble beginning through the Pilgrims is something every citizen should understand to guard against complacency and entitlement. It is a nation that we have a duty to preserve and without and understanding of it's true history we cannot rise to the occasion to do so.
