Even though I have an inkjet printer, I took a chance on this "laser printer" paper because I wanted something better than regular paper but less expensive than photo paper for the calendars I am making for friends and family using photos that I have taken. This is my first venture into home publishing. My printer is a Canon Pixma ix6520 and the calendars are being made from a template that was included on the printer's software. Half the 8.5x11 sheet is picture, half is calendar. All in all I am pleased with the finished product. The weight and glossy appearance of the paper is a major reason for my satisfaction.

For purposes of this review I am going to speak separately about printing text and photos with an inkjet printer.

Text. Prints very well and looks much better than on regular paper. The black letters are darker and where colored ink is use the letters are darker and brighter. Sheets come out of the printer dry, no problem with smearing, etc. No hesitation about using this paper in an inkjet printer for brochures and things that are mostly text. I am very pleased with the appearance of the calendar portion of my project.

Photos: The paper is not photo paper and you can see the difference. They are usable, and most likely I'm more critical as the photographer than those who receive the calendars will be, but I wish they were brighter and more colorful. Nevertheless, they are usable and look better than on plain paper. Whether they look better if printed with a laser printer, I am unable to say. But I did see comments in the previous reviews indicating that also with a laser printer they were less than what you get on photo paper.Read more ›

Purchased this paper to create a paper cd holder with specialized info, for a CD promo give-away at a product fair. Paper went through my HP photosmart printer without any jams or issues other than I ran out of ink. It didn't smear and folded very nicely. I was concerned going with a glossy vs a matte paper, but id worked beautifully. Paper was a little more expensive than desired, but fit the needs of my project! I was happy to find someone who actually sold it in quantities greater than 50 per package!!!

I bought this paper to produce brochures for my small business. Works great. Prints nicely on both sides (HP Color Laser Jet printer). Folds with a nice sharp crease. Overall, a highly cost effective value.

I can't comment on the quality of this paper as a flyer or whatever. However I can say that it is fantastic for making PCBs using the toner transfer method. The toner adheres well in less than a minute and after letting it cool you can peel the paper off without any soaking, but soaking it cool makes it ridiculously easy to peel off and it speeds up cooling so really there isn't any reason not too.

My search is over - this is the best and most cost-effective paper for professional brochure printing. I was looking for a way to print a small booklet on my Epson Artisan inkjet printer. The result, with this paper, is very professional looking, though it took quite a bit of experimenting to find the right print settings.

If you have an Epson Artisan, here's what I found. Turn on double-sided printing, even if you won't be doing both sides. This enables a "manual" setting to be found in the same setup box. The manual adjustment gives you control over ink density and ink drying times. I reduced ink flow by about 18%, and set ink drying time at 22 seconds (this pauses the page "flip over" before printing side two.)

I bought this paper to print tri-fold brochures for a fundraiser for the pet rescue I'm volunteering with. The results look very nice and professional. I had people ask me where I had gotten them printed and they didn't want to believe I did it myself at home. I used a brother laser color printer with TN-210 series toner cartridges and printed double-sided including lots of photos of animals. Both sides printed well and the pictures look great. The paper folded very neatly into the tri-fold.

We've used this for years to print our color brochures and catalog inserts.

I've also used it for print our family Christmas letter (with lots of color photos).

Not as good as photo paper but great for a xmas letter or brochure.
