This butter dish is perfect for the fat butter sticks. I haven't tried putting two sticks in it I buy the "Lurpak" butter or an Irish butter that I get at my local grocery, and this is perfect for it. I love the pattern and the ceramic is very high quality.

It took a while for Amazon to get better packaging for this product, but they did come through. I was amazed it appears they took my suggestions (and probably other folks') to use more bubble wrap. Nice to know Amazon actually listens to their customers. This butter dish is exquisite.
