I bought this heavy-duty stapler to re-upholster 4 kitchen chairs. Since this might be my only re-upholstering project, I did not want to spend the money on an electric or pneumonic staple-gun. I have re-upholstered the chairs, which now look fabulous, and this staple-gun worked very well. There were a few staples that didn't go in all the way, but I just removed them with a screwdriver and stapled again. If you are buying a manual stapler for re-upholstery, I would recommend this one.

I like this stapler because it doesn't hurt my hand when using at strange angles or stapling something over head. I am an athletic female, but most of these staple guns toast my wrists or hands when stapling things at different angles than straight on style. My old staple gun had no hand grip, and the whole thing was metal, the last time it jammed, it stayed jammed and worked no longer. The old one also trashed my hand / wrist on a regular basis, so this is a nice change. Now, this stapler DOES jam quite a bit more than other staple guns I've had, but always easily un-jams by removing the few staples crossed at the end where they are deployed from. I was looking for a stapler that was easy on my wrist and hands, it is. I wanted something I could use a heavier duty staple (T-50's) with for things like changing textiles on furniture, this should do it, and I wanted something comfortable with a good light hand grip for light and heavy duty occasional projects...this fits the bill. The jamming of a couple of staples at the end really doesn't take away all the good things about this stapler, so I'd recommend it. Even for the guys. Good for any size of hand, including more petite or very large hands. I'm happy with the purchase.

This is the best value in manual staple guns. It's light-weight, well made, very easy to load, and accommodates staples up to 9/16". The mainspring is adjustable which means that you can do quite a bit of light stapling, such as cardboard, without discomfort..
