I was so pleased to see how large, heavy and beautiful these mugs are. I bought them from Amazon warehouse which they were greatly reduced. It said "almost new but may not be in original packaging" so I took the chance. If anything is wrong with the mugs Amazon has free return so I had nothing to lose! The six mugs cost $26.00 exactly including the shipping handling & tax. .. . a great buy! I was nervous something must be wrong with them at that price .. . .NOT! They were brand new, perfect without any defects or blemishes just gorgeous. I bought the gold mugs and I just love them! I also bought the large pasta bowl a few weeks ago and that is beautiful as well!

So, its been about a year since I purchased these mugs, and I have washed them in the dishwasher a thousand times over! They are still just as perfect as the day I bought them. No chips, scratches, not even a stain from coffee or tea. There is nothing not to love about these mugs. I am ordering another 6 today because they are greatly reduced and I could use a few more!

I looked for several months for the perfect set of coffee mugs, and finally found these on Amazon. The color is rich; the design in classy but not overwhelming; the handles are sturdy; the thickness of the mug itself feels strong and durable; and they actually hold more liquid than they appear to. I can't say enough about these. I highly recommend then!

I wanted large mugs for our cottage. The ones that came with our dishes were too small. These mugs are great for a large serving of coffee, tea, or hot chocolate. The mugs do not get hot when you warm a beverage in the microwave. I enjoy using them every time we are at our cottage.

Whatever you want to serve in these mugs, you will serve them in style. They are great quality and a nice, tall size (large/venti equivalent). Getting the set of six for a nice price was worth every penny when we had company. I was able to serve them coffee and tea in something stylish, and love to use them daily myself.

Defintely recommended, particularly if you have the Sorrento Collection dishes like I do (I recommend them too!).

These mugs were a gift, so I haven't personally used them, but I always have gifts delivered to me first so I can make sure they are in good condition. The mugs were wrapped nicely and arrived intact. (and survived another long journey from New England to the deep south.) They have a high-end look, and felt nice and balanced when I examined them. Love the color (got the red ones.) I was also happy about the lead-free glazing which I discovered is not easy to find. I waited a few months before asking my daughter and son-in-law for feedback: it's all positive. They use the mugs several times a day, they love the large size, find them durable and easy to care for, and don't feel they have to be gentle with the mugs--no chips yet. I had been hesitant to order this item because of some of the lukewarm reviews, but I am more than satisfied with the purchase and would definitely consider other pieces in the sorrento line.

Had these exact mugs for years & needed to replace chipped/cracked ones. Local stores that carry Sorrento do not offer separate mugs (must purchase place settings), so was thrilled to find these online. They are the same as my old mugs and a perfect size for my morning cup of coffee. Were delivered very well packaged and quickly.

I purchased this set as a gift for my mom. She had been wanting some of these mugs for a long time. They are a beautiful color and the perfect size for a good size cup of coffee. I was so happy to find these in a set. Everywhere else I has seen them they were sold separately at $15 a mug. I got a great deal on a set of six at more than half that price.Thanks Amazon!!
