What can one say about a sanding belt? These perform as well as the ones costing twice as much locally. Fast cut, no more clogging than the major (expensive) brands, the seams hold up. I'm a woodworker who uses these on a daily basis, and I recommend this product. This applies to all grits of these belts, too.

These are just ok. The flaw as you've probably read in other reviews is the seam. They track just fine and have held up just fine, but the seam is probably the worst I've seen on sanding belts. Because of that it really limits what you can use these on. If you're just knocking the splinters off a rough cut or removing a lot of material then these will be just fine. If however you're trying to lightly touch up a surface or finish off a smooth edge, then the speed bump seam is going to put a decent sized dent in your work as you come back down on the belt. There are other, admittedly more expensive belts out there that don't come with a large speed bump built in.

The sand belt itself isn't so bad, however the glued seam is too thick and causes the wood to bounce. There is definitely a better way to put two ends together. Therefore I dont like it, but it is usable.

My husband is very impressed with these belts. They're a good quality and the grit is perfectly even for a good grind. They are in no danger of coming apart at the connector ends, and are true to size and go onto the grinder perfectly. They hold up great against the steel of the knives my husband makes, and they don't clog easily.

These are what they are and they do work - but one strange thing I have noticed is that these seem much more prone to wandering than previous belts I have used on my sander. They seem to become more stable after they have been mounted for a few days.

My shop is cold, so it may be that the fabric in the belt is excessively stiff when cold, and therefore the belt is reluctant to take the set of the pulleys in the sander.

Could not find these in the stores, so once again, Amazon Prime to the rescue!

As others have noted, the seam is not as smooth as it should be, so while using them, you'll get a noticeable bump and noise when it comes around. Otherwise, these work very well.

I think I read another review on this product - said that the seam where the belt was glued together was a bit rough and I have to agree. Its like driving down a wash board road, but even with that these work well and don't seem to "load" as quickly as others I've used. The 100 grit is a good choice, not so rough that it leaves deep groves, yet it removes stock well when shaping and sanding rough spots in walnut and other hardwoods.

Nothing wrong with this product. It cuts good, lasts reasonably well and doesn't come apart. If I had one complaint, it is that the seam is rather lumpy making the work bounce as it passes by. For fine work, this would be a problem.
