I thought these were hand-sized slip-over mitten-like things, but when the two I ordered arrived, they were the tiny little pot handle mittens. It DOES say very clearly in the product description that they are a handle mitt (now that I re-read it), and I can use them, but I think they are WAY overpriced for what they are. But they are very, very nice, so they get five stars. Just don't do what I did and think they are something other than what they are.

BTW, getting old and having your faculties slip is such a major drag....

THIS LITTLE IRON HOLDS ALOT OF HEAT.WORKS WELL.I FOUND YOU CANT HOLD IT ON ONE SPOT TO LONG IT WILL LEAVE THE IRON SHAPE ON YOUR HAIR,SO MAKE SURE ITS ALWAYS IN A GLIDING MOTION.GREAT FOR TRAVEL.

I ride a motorcylce and needed a little something to fix hair with on long trips. This is the perfect size. You do have to wear glove which is more space to take up and have to wait a minute to cool down to pack back up but really great and it works.
