These pans are the best. I have made cakes that got stuck in the pans before and always gotten them out, but I was not expecting the nonstick to work this well. I was worried the cake would get stuck around the top point and not come out with a nice sharp edge, but it was perfect. I also thought the wide lip might make it awkward to hold, but it actually really helped me because I could literally lift off the pan from the cake with one hand. I bought two to make a layer cake for valentine's day. I put a little butter and flour inside (not even sure you would need to), and the cakes slid out leaving nothing behind and no tears! The cake came out gorgeous :)

I got this pan in June 2014 and waited to see how it would hold up after several months of use. And it's going great--with proper care, this pan should last a long time. I notice that most of the reviews for this rectangular 13X9 inch pan are actually for the heart shaped cake pan, so my review is specific to the 13" x 9" pan.

First, I ain't cooking cakes in this thing. I'm putting greasy, meaty things into this baby. Porch chops, chicken, lasagnas--you know what I'm talking about. These are things that tend to ruin pans by sticking just enough to ruin the non-stick coatings over time. Thankfully, this pan has held up very, very well. I've noticed some light staining but it hasn't seemed to affect the non-stick properties of the pan.

Non-stick is a bit hard to claim; stick-resistant would be more accurate. I still have to do a bit of rubbing to get stuff off the pan, but it's nothing like it would be if this was just a regular pan. Supposedly the pan has a 10-year warranty, but I would be very happy to get 5 years out of any pan the way I like to cook.

This may not be the most expensive pan out there, but it is pretty darn good. I don't use metal utensils on this pan; you can find safe utensils for things like cutting lasagna that won't scratch the coating like a metal knife will. Cared for properly, there's no reason why this pan shouldn't provide years of service. A great bargain choice for pan!

I always make birthday cakes for my family and friends. When I saw this heart shaped pan I thought it would be a perfect pan to bake my cakes in. Everyone who receives them always comment on the cake being in the shape of a heart which makes their cake special. The pan is non-stick and so easy to keep clean.

I'm so happy that I was able to find a stainless steel, non-stick heart-shaped pan! As a matter of fact, I bought three of them so I could make a nice layer cake! I have other Wilton Excelle pans that are top quality. The only thing I would advise is that your baked product may be a little bit darker on the outside, so you may want to take the pan out of the oven five or ten minutes sooner than the recipe calls for (which is what I do), or lower the temperature by 25 degrees or so. You really don't need to grease the pan, although I always spray it lightly with Baker's Joy or cooking spray. It's also very easy to clean. Don't use anything sharp or nubby to clean it, just a little soap and warm water. I look forward to using these great pans on Valentine's Day or another special occasion!

I have two of these pans: one in my mother's house and one in mine. They are excellent quality, and everyone gives a little "ooh" to see a heart-shaped cake (or brownies)! It's very deep too, and so you could bake a whole cake in it, and later slice it into two layers before frosting. (See attached photo of brownies I made for a birthday party.)
