This is the worst made rack I've ever seen - If you could hang more than a pound on here I'd be surprised . I am forced to give it one star because it won't let me post a zero .

Photo is totally misleading - Pegs are barely an inch long ... wood slats are are 1/8 inch thick (Yes, I measured ) You would be hard put to hang a mug on here and hope it didn't fall off .

I am a carpenter , and from the picture , I thought it was worth the money instead of making it myself -

WRONG !!!!!

I ordered this and got what I ordered but not what I wanted. I did not realize that there are two different sizes of pegs and I wanted the longer ones. I use this as a jewelry rack and it is fine for that usage but does not hold as much as the longer pegs would.

Went to Babies R Us, Michael's, Home Depot, Lowe's, Wal Mart, Target, Ace Hardware looking for this simple item. All said they no longer carried these. It's perfect for me. Used my cell phone to take pictures. Took it apart. Painted it white. Put it back together with small glass drawer pulls instead of the pegs. Hung it on my wall and use it to hang necklaces on. Target has similar for $39.00. What?!?!

We bought this with the idea of giving me a place to hang up a couple shoulder packs I use. This is cheaply made! The cross bars are not much thicker than wooden tongue depressors. The pegs are very short, and not held on well at all - our first attempt to put one of my shoulder packs on this bent the peg at the attachment point. The pegs are also closely spaced so you can't get many large items on this.

Don't waste your money on this item. Look for larger, better built ones, or go to your local big-box store and check out what you are buying first.

I was looking to use this product as a cup rack. While trying to hang it with the enclosed hardware, all three hanger pieces broke. They are made of very flimsy wire, not the heavy duty hangers of past days. I was forced to drill holes through the rack itself in order to hang it. It is still very functional, but the hangers themselves are lacking.

I don't write reviews but this one (sarcasm) wins the ultimate award.

I spent $6-7 for this when I could have had a great meal with that money instead. Pictures says it all. Rusty screws, cheap faux wood, knobs ready to break off. Blown away by this. How does Amazon allow this on their website? Please do everyone a favor and pull these guys off your site. I practically depend on Amazon for most purchases and this left a bad taste in my mouth. Boo!

I found another rack at a different store for only $4. Granted it was small, but not much smaller than this one. It was nice to have the hangers to hang it to the wall, but I wanted to hand it vertically because it would fit in my dorm room that way, but I have to wait until next year to use it.

Also, the pegs seemed a bit loose, and the color is extremely plain.

This product had some bad reviews so I was hesitant to buy it. But I went ahead and did anyway because the price was right. It is a bit flimsy for heavier items. But I was planning on using it for hats/costumes in my sons room. It is not painted or finished at all so I painted it to match his room very easily. It was easy to hang and works great for what I wanted it to do.
