An all-purpose sporty watch, the full-size Timex T62951 Triathlon will keep your exercise sessions on track. It features a 16-hour chronograph with lap or split option, 8-lap memory recall, 10-hour countdown timer with countdown/stop, countdown/repeat, and countdown auto-start chrono functionality. It also has a 99-lap counter, alarm with 5-minute back-up, all-day Indiglo display, and a black polyurethane strap. This watch is water resistant to 50 meters (165 feet).

The Indiglo night-light uniformly lights the surface of the watch dial using patented blue electroluminescent lighting technology. It uses less battery power than most other watch illumination systems, enabling your watch battery to last longer. The Night Mode feature allows you to illuminate the Indiglo night-light for 3 seconds with any button press, regardless of the mode or function.

It's rather hard to find a well fitting watch for my relatively small wrist. This watch hits the mark perfectly. Soft resin strap is quite comfortable. Buttons are very easy to push (compared to some other watches for which you need to use a nail). Operation is also easy. I never needed to read the manual. I had this kind of watch for a number of years, but then the strap broke. I'm glad this model is still produced. I bought a replacement without hesitation.

I'm a bit puzzled by the overall positive reviews on this chrono. Two poor design issues - 1. The top info (Date/Day) or in Chrono (split time) are hard to see and partly hidden. 2. The chrono split and Stop/Start buttons are very small so...if you running (or whatever) you really have to concentrate to hit them. Not ideal. Also, the watch is not all that 'bright' - hard to read. I've had really good Timex in the past... not this one.

I love this watch! It's utterly indestructible. I especially like the band that is integrated into the watch face, giving it a soft-bracelet quality that is exceptionally comfortable. The watch is also the thinnest I've seen in an action watch. You don't realize you're wearing it, so you can focus on your workout. Timex made this watch in orange and blue too (I own both). Based on my research, only black remains (or at least black is the easiest to find). Timex rules!
