If you are in the market for a 2 qt corelle bowl, then buy the corelle fun pack. It has the 2 qt bowl (which is huge) and also offers 4 28 oz. bowls. These are perfect for soup, cereal, etc. The deal offered at amazon for the fun pack is around 17 for all 5. So pay the few bucks more and get the whole set! Dont hesitate, cause sometimes amazon sells out of this fun pack. You will thank me!

I am on my eighth bowl as the more I purchase the more uses I find for them. So great to have a bowl that doesn't break or chip and Amazon does offer these and other products in this line at the best price. The cleanup is a breeze and the bowl does not retain any color or taste from the food you are creating or serving so as long as they keep making this I will keep buying.
edited 05/15/2015 I am very, very upset and happy that I do not have children setting the table or using these bowls.
I don't know if it is me or whatever but all of a sudden these bowls are just breaking in half like an egg. I am not doing anything different to them-I do not microwave them or put them in the dishwasher but one just broke in half right in my hands when I put string beans into it. Three of the eight that I had have chips and cracks so I do not know if these have an expiration date but be careful, they are not as carefree as once thought and the company needs to change their marketing description. I will still use the bowls but now that I know that they can break like any others they will be kept away from children and I will never use these while entertaining.

Corelle plates and bowls have been with our household ever since I remember.
We used to have (we still have them but they are on the shelves) Corelles with color designs but we decided to stick with simple plain ones which is easier to match.

Pros:
-Durable. Me and my wife have dropped them many times; and they don't break easily.
-Light. Less stress for our kitchen shelves.
-Microwave safe
-Easy to clean
-Dishwasher safe

If this bowl falls off a coffee table onto a hardwood floor, it doesn't just break, it detonates into a million super sharp slivers all over the room. No good for children, old people or disabled people. Other than that, great.

I'd ordered the Corelle 34 piece set in Just White -by the way, I cannot recommend that enough -great product -but decided I needed another, larger bowl than the one that came with the set. The Winter Frost White 2-Quart bowl matches nicely enough with the other set, and is the usual dependable Corelle. I imagine I'll have this set in tact for years to come.

I've been looking all over for this bowl! I had three of them but needed more. i love salads, big salads and this is the best bowl for a really big, leafy salad. As always, Corelle products are so dependable and I know I will have this bowl for a long time.

I love this light weight pasta bowl. It is thin but very durable. They stack beautifully. The winter frost color just brings out the colors of the food. If you don't mind that it is thin and light weight this bowl is perfect. I'm buying 3 more for larger gatherings.

I absolutely love these bowls except for one thing. They break! I broke one and it shattered into about a 1000 pieces. Slivers everywhere! I am mentioning this because I noticed a lot of parents buying these for their 5 year olds etc... They are NOT unbreakable! I only bumped it with another bowl when it shattered on me. I will still continue using mine for adults but when my grandchildren come, paper plates... ;)

In 30 years, my growing family managed to break maybe 3 pieces -- and I have service for 20 people (my husband & I both come from big families and we like to host holiday dinners). Now my daughters have finished college and I am buying pieces for them. It's elegant, simple design never goes out of style. Nothing can stain it. It never chips. You can add more faddish accessories so that your table is always stylish, but this winter frost white Corelle set goes from every day to elegant with ease!

It is amazing that I am as proud of these dishes now as I was as a newlywed 30 year ago. I am so glad I didn't go for something with a pattern that would go out of style and end up in land fill after only a few years.
