I absolutely love this pan! I will definately be ordering one in the 12" size.

The Xcaliber non-stick coating has a 25 year warranty and is resistant to metal usage. If you are like me, you occasionally forget not to use metal on your non-stick pan and OOPS! you scratched it. Not this pan. Also it is the nicest "wok" that I have ever used. The flat bottom is great and the sides are high so it is like using a real wok. The only thing it is missing, however, is an oven-proof handle.

A word about clean-up: this pan passes the "wipe out" cleaning test (if you watch home shopping demos you know what I mean). I do have another non-stick pan, very nice, but to really sear meat I have to crank up the heat and then things still stick a bit. Not with this pan. Because it does not have the tri-ply bottom it heats up quickly and still I can wipe it nearly clean with a damp paper towel (yes I actually do wash it with soap and water, I just had to try it to see if it really worked).

If you are looking for fast cooking and easy clean-up, this is your pan. Also, I'd like to mention that most non-stick pans don't last long because you really do have to crank up the heat to sear meats or like many people you use more heat than you need to. And what happens to the non-stick surface over time is that it breaks down with this repeated "overheating", no matter how well you take care of it. With this pan, I've never had to use more than medium heat, and usually use less than that.
For the price and the warranty and ease of use and clean up, I say "Two thumbs up"

This is the perfect little nonstick wok/fry pan/saute pan! The size is just right for 2 people. Cleanup is a cinch. And I don't have to worry about destroying the nonstick surface when I use a metal utensil by mistake - as I've done too often! Great product at a great price.

I've purchased 2 of these pans for myself and 1 as a gift.

These are great pans, nothing fancy or expensive. Cook almost anything in them. Comfortable to use.

I cook stir-fry every day so I have many pans/woks, for different purposes. I like this one mainly because its size. It's perfect for small dishes if I don't want to drag out the bigger and heavier pans. Clean up is very easy and the quality seems to be fairly good too. Also, it's not too heavy but feels sturdy enough.

This is my second one, since the first one was burnt. That's what you have to be careful about, don't overheat the pan because it could be damaged this way. But overall it's a good and useful pan and I use it daily.

I purchased this to use for a healthier eating regimen - I'm trying to go with fresher non-processed foods, and stir fries are great for that. I can pair dozens of combinations of veggies with lots of different meat/chicken/seafood choices. This pan works great with everything!

I got it specifically to go with a new countertop induction burner, and it works perfectly with that. It heats quickly (VERY quickly!), and clean up is really a breeze. A quick wipe with a damp paper towel really gets everything, but I usually do a quick hand wash w/ soap, then towel dry. I tend to use it 4-5 times a week. NO DISHWASHER for this pan! I've had this pan for nearly 3 months, and it still looks new.

I'm now considering getting the larger size for when i have company.

I bought this to use on a glass induction cooktop and use it as my primary piece of cookware. I make everything in this wok and it does it all well. It distributes heat relatively well, and I have had no problem getting it hot enough for wok-style cooking, though the flat bottom somewhat precludes true wok cooking, but that is an inescapable drawback of cooking with any non-gas heat source.

The nonstick coating is fantastic. I have been using this almost every day for over a year and it still looks and works like new. I can fry an egg with no oil at all and it doesn't stick. I don't use metal utensils even though the product description states that you can. The packaging on it said that metal utensils will scratch it up but wont effect its function. I don't like scratches, and I'm skeptical of their claim, so I just use wood and silicone with this pan and that has kept it looking like new.

Highly recommended.

OK, the first thing I like about this wok is that the handle will unscrew. The metal ring at the end of the handle is actually the end of a long eye-bolt. You can unscrew it and remove the handle. This makes the wok a really great solution for me since I'm using it to go car camping. With the handle off, it is so much easier to pack away and transport.

Next, about that handle, it is kind square-ish, which makes it easier to hold than a round handle when your hands are cold or greasy (remember--I'm using this for car camping) but the surface of the handle is still not grippy enough for me. I'd like it better if it had some pattern or stippling stamped into the plastic to improve the coefficient of friction. Not a factor if using this wok at home, but at a campsite on top of a precarious camp stove, you have to hold the handle while moving the food around or the whole thing will topple over. So, kind of a niggley thing, but I thought I'd mention it.

(By the way, to fix this problem, I got out my soldering iron and stippled the handle myself.)

As for the wok itself--nice and solid, beautiful finish inside and out, great shape and size (but that of course is a personal thing). As for the non-stick finish--it's not as slippery as, say, a brand new t-fal pan, but it's OK. I can't clean it with a paper towel after an omelet, but I can clean it in about 5 seconds with a plastic scrub brush.

For what I paid, I'd say this was a real bargain and really meets my needs.
