These are great scissors. I used to primarily use one of the higher-end Fiskars, but I accidentally bashed it into something and the blades fell out of alignment. Seeing no real replacement, I decided to try Olfa, having long used their snap-blades. Everything about these scissors is wonderful. The serrations are very small, and give it almost a ratchet-like feel, like you can precisely cut to the next 'click' and stop with ease. It makes cutting feel very controlled. Blades are sharp, steel seems to be high quality, and the axle is very smooth. There's not much to want out of a pair of scissors, and these just... make cutting easy. I will be buying more Olfa scissors.

Clean cutting accurate sharp no slip no flex comfortable in the hand stays sharp ridged compact. Pricey, but worth it.
Gone through lots of cheap scissors for a total of a lot more than Olfa brand cost.
The only problem is that ALL your coworkers want to "BORROW" them. Take a $20 deposit, otherwise you won't get them back.

I have owned these for about 9 years, I used them on my wedding dress and many tailored suits. I love how they grip and nothing slips out of being snipped. The blades are great. They are difficult to sharpen and need to be replaces every so often. Thanks, Iris (John's wife)

I bought the scissors to cut 1.5"-3" heat shrink,they work well just wish the finger loops were a bit large so that i don't have to remove my gloves. I bought these to replace the one i lost,they were the same size except the handle was brown and larger loops not sure on the brand.
