Works reasonably well on almost all cork corks, but don't bother with the plastic ones. It would be nice if the product was labeled clearly with that tidbit of advice.

Also, if you know there is a lot of sediment in the wine, I wouldn't use the Cork Pop to open the vino.

Received my Corkpops opener as a gift three years ago & have been amazed at the ease of opening a bottle of wine ever since. I always order two boxes of Corkpops refills so I never run out of cartridges. Love it!!!!

I ordered 4 of the cartridges. I needed two replacements for my own corkpops; and ordered 2 additional for my BF (boy friend) because I also ordered him a CorkPops Unit and wanted to provide him with the replacement cartridges.
The only problem I have with CorkPops is that it doesn't always work with every wine bottle.
It works in the majority of wine bottles, but some corks are really really tightly placed in the neck of the wine bottle and CorkPops just doesn't work. So, after 2 - 3 tries with the corkpops, I end up having to resort to the manual method of cork removal. Unfortunately, that considerably wastes the number of uses I can get out of a cork-pop cartridge. If the canisters increased their usage criteria to account for the numerous bottles that their product DOES NOT WORK ON, I would feel better about purchasing the product.

These cartridges will fit the Cork Pops Original Wine Opener which is what I received as a gift and love. The needle goes into the cork and when you press on the C02 it releases the gas into the wine bottle and presto-- it pops right out! A single cartridge lasts almost a year-- and that's after using it almost every other day-- fantastic! You will not be disappointed-- buying two is plenty to get you through a few years if you enjoy a bottle almost every night.

I am a bartender and i love cool things like this that make life easier and opening bottles faster i get around 30-40 bottles open per canister, and that might be a low estimate... it's hard to keep track.

These cartridges are the exact cartridges that come with the "Cork Pop" opener, so what's to say? They are the exact replacements made by the same company-----so this review is somewhat useless. They are not made by some cheesy nameless Chinese company.
