I have owned 2 of the king pads and a cover for about 10 years now and I use it almost every day. I've hand washed the pad itself and found that it comes out like new -- the cover can be washed in the machine and comes out nice and clean If you follow the directions, and DON'T heat the pad with the cover on it, AND don't overheat the pad itself, you will have some of the best relief available! In fact, I'm about to order a couple more sizes and shapes because hubby and I are starting to fight over who gets it first!

Only put in microwave for 2 minutes and it melted and ruined my microwave! Only used it a couple of times.

These pads simply don't work in the microwave as advertised. The beads melt a hole in the material and then you have a mess with these mini-beads going all over your kitchen counter, floor, etc.
