I had been looking for a dispenser for a while for my mounting cereal shelf in the kitchen. I have a mostly stainless steel kitchen and I didn't want the piling cereal boxes to be exposd anymore, I was really looking for a more uniformed look. I researched my options and the price I found on Amazon was really the best. I knew I wanted multiple dispensers, but oddly enough it was more cost effective to buy multiple single dispensers than a couple of the double ones that are available. No matter, I purchased 5 and they are lined up beautifully on my stainless steel shelving unit. They are easily put together, cleaned and used my my five children. They look cohesive and pretty when they are filled with colorful cereal. Nonethess, the children ranging in ages from 2-11 find them accessible and use them often. They come with a small plastic covering that is right at the opening that helps in keeping the cereal fresh. I was worried about the larger cereal coming out, but the turner that pushes the contents out are thick and durable. I have had no trouble whatsoever. I would think that these are much more durable than the plastic alternatives. If you have the opportunity I would think that these are the better choice. I really have nothing negative to say about the dispenser. I would highly recommend it.

This is a great dispenser! The metal base is heavy and has rubber discs to prevent it from sliding on the counter. It fits perfectly under the kitchen cabinet, and it could also be hung on a wall. The best thing about the dispenser is its convenience and easy of use. I tend to forget about cereal when its stored out of sight in the cabinet, so it tends to go stale -- I don't have that problem any longer.

My husband loves cereal for breakfast, and I bought it so he doesn't have to go to the pantry every morning to get a box of cereal. It was a perfect fit for him, and it even accommodates the extra large cereal bowl that he uses. I was surprised at how big it was, but the stainless steel frame is incredibly beautiful. The rubber turn knob doesn't jam up as easily as I expected, although dense cereal may require a bit more effort to dispense. Only complaints: 1. The top plastic covers are not completely airtight, but are fine for dry cereal. 2. The bottom rubber covers fall out easily - they should fit more snugly.

The Zevro Easy Morning Dual Dry Food Dispenser is a very good product. My five year old loves being able to easily get her own cereal.

Cereal does "leak" out of the bottom of the mechanism if there is any left over in the mechanism after the bowel is removed. This is not a real problem in the suburbs.

In a city apartment the cereal leakage from the bottom, and the lack of an airtight seal on the top, could be a problem for bugs (roachs).

The unit is stable and sturdy. It is attractive on the counter.

I first purchased the Dual dry food dispenser in black. Its plastic through and seemed like it wanted to fall over. I was always "straightening" the back of it. So I returned it and got the stainless steel one. It is very sturdy. I love it! My kids just stick their hand or bowl under it and turn the knob. I have even caught my husband putting his hand under it several times a day to get a "snack"! Needless to say, We love it!

I bought this because it looked great, but it turns out it was very functional also. It looks great on the counter and since it is stainless steel, it is quite heavy and there is no danger of tipping.

I was worried that the lids weren't tight enough because they just pop on, but I have had cereal in it for over a month and still fresh as can be. The bigger cereals come out with a little more difficulty then smaller cereals, but they don't come out crushed.

The bins are big enough so that an entire box of cereal fits in it at once. Mine didn't smell bad like some reviewers said and after putting a couple of pieces together it was ready to go.

I purchased this in 2004 (that's 8 years ago!!) to store dog food on my kitchen counter. I have to give it 5 stars for convenience. I don't have a pantry and I keep the large bag in another room but feed the dog in the kitchen. And for something I use every day, twice a day, I got tired of running up and down the stairs every day... twice a day. So I keep this on my counter. For my 20 lb dog who eats twice a day, I only have to refill it every week and 1/2. The real stainless looks great (note only the bottom portion is stainless). I have found that in 12 years, the silicone "blade" that sits between the container and the open end at the bottom is finally wearing out a bit. I found a replacement blade at the Zevro website (along with other replacement parts). But after 12 years, I can't complain. One other thing I did is put small round sliders on the the bottom. This makes it easier to slide it out from under the cabinet when I need to refill it. It's fine without the sliders, I just like the feel of it better. This is a wonderful product. Love it.
