My husband was taking Zoloft and doing well with it, but did not like the idea of being on a drug for the rest of his life. He switched to the St. John's Wort and has had the same great results as with the prescription. He tried other brands of the St. John's Wort in the past but they did not work as well as the Nature's Plus.

I purchased this product in place of the zolofts that I did not want to be on the rest of my life and they work so fr. I started off taking them once a day just to get use to them being in my body. I have been taking them for over a week and they seem to elevate my mood and ofcourse I take them twice a day now.

I swear by St John's Wort time released.. I haven't lost my temper in 10 years... :)

Company facing big trouble, and I still don't think about jumping off a bridge...

I prefer the Solaray as it is just once per day, but unfortunately, they will no longer ship to my region. This brand is a good next best choice: it is twice a day (still better than the 3x/day of most brands) & is a tablet rather than capsule, which I prefer. I find the effect of St John's Wort is virtually the same as Wellbutrin for me, with the added benefit of not causing insomnia.
