Sore throat warnings: if sore throat is severe, persists for more than 2 days, is accompanied or followed by fever, headache, rash, swelling, nausea, or vomiting, consult a doctor promptly. These may be serious. Do not use in children under 6 years of age unless directed by a doctor.
Ask a doctor before use if you have persistent or chronic cough such as occurs with smoking, asthma, or emphysema, cough accompanied by excessive phlegm (mucus).
Stop use and ask a doctor if cough persists for more than 1 week, tends to recur, or is accompanied by fever, rash, or persistent headache. These could be signs of a serious condition. Sore mouth does not improve in 7 days, irritation, pain, or redness persists or worsens.
Keep out of reach of children.

Adults and children 6 years and older: dissolve 3 drops (one at a time) slowly in the mouth. Repeat every 2 hours as needed or as directed by a doctor.

For years I bounced from one throat lozenge to another - sugary ones, menthol ones, organic ones, you name it. Finally I have found a throat lozenge I love! It always soothes my throat right away and I love the mild and sweet honey-herb flavor. I always carry at least one or two in my pocket or purse. They dissolve nicely and do not cut my tongue as they dissolve like some other lozenges do. I like Ricola drops because they use natural ingredients like honey, peppermint, hyssop, and thyme. There are no 20 letter word ingredients that I've never heard of either!

If you haven't tried Ricola drops or you haven't tried this flavor, it's worth a try. I highly recommend the Honey-Herb flavor as my favorite, but there are a number of other flavors that you may enjoy too. For me, this is it!

If you are looking for the "Eucalyptus" immediate-if-not sooner sinus clearing Vicks experience, this will more mild in the initial stages and it seems to be almost equally effective by the time you have finished one or two drops.

Active Ingredient: Menthol

Inactive Ingredients: caramel color, extract of Ricola's herb mixture (elder, horehound, hyssop, lemon balm, linden flowers, mallow, peppermint, sage, thyme, wild thyme), honey, natural flavors (honey, peppermint), starch syrup, sugar.

Hyssop can be used to relieve colds and fevers. It is also anti-inflammatory, antiseptic and antiviral. The peppermint in this formula helps to clear your head and I like the flavor of the honey and herbs. You will mostly taste the honey and peppermint.

These Ricola drops do not contain Eucalyptus, so they seem safer than the Vicks drops. They also do not contain artificial colors and have a wonderful smooth flavor that is very comforting.

My work has me talking to large groups of people all day, projecting my voice outdoors or inside large spaces. Add to that dust, pollens, mold, moving from hot to cold environments repeatedly throughout the day, etc. If it can irritate your throat, I have to endure it in varying degrees every day.

Ricola Natural Herbal Cough Drops are almost always in my pocket for a little instant relief. On the days I've run out, I definitely feel the absence of their healing touch.

What a wonderful product... one you really must try to experience how good they really are.
