Format: Audio CD
As easy listening music goes, Andre Kostelanetz has few peers save for Percy Faith. But in this two album set, he distances himself from other "lounge" arrangers by offering inventive orchestral arrangements of well-worn classics, like Alfie, Sounds of Silence, Two for The Road. Andre's artful arranging is empowered with his knack for finding a way to infuse his charts with accordians, harps and other instruments that otherwise take a back seat in most arrangements.

Format: Audio CD Verified Purchase
I never thought I'd see this again. Originally had a 33 RPM LP, vinyl of this when I was a kid. Amazon fulfilled this back to my music collection in good time, as expected. Quality is good, sounds great, although I do miss the pop and crackle of an authentic, good old fashioned LP.

This album has one of the best versions of "Sounds of Silence" other than Simon & Garfunkle's original production.

I guess I am a romantic in that a variety of the movie hits that I enjoyed as a collegian have been brought to the forefront of my soul.Many fond memories re-enter my mind as I listen to this music.
