Fun:3.0 out of 5 stars 

This game wasn't as good as I was hoping it would be. The music was so repetitive that I just wanted to mute the TV. My husband & I both had our own game going & after my husband had went through about 20% of the game he entered a cave which took him back to about the 5% area where he had already been. After he worked so long & hard to pass several sections he was very disappointed to find that he had to go through all of that again. They should've made it so that when you beat a section you wouldn't be able to go through it again. Another problem that we encountered was the fact that you couldn't turn the camera around 100% of the time. There were times when you needed to turn the camera because there was a wall in the way & you couldn't see Crash so we would go to turn the camera (like you can do most of the game) & you wouldn't be able to. I have to wonder if there was any editing in this game. When the game worked like it should've it was fun but for us there was too many problems so I don't recommend this game.

I have been a fan of this series ever since I picked up the first one with my brand new Playstation in 1996. It always seemed to know its place in life as a bridge between old 2D platform games and the present. It used the new technology to update platforming with humor and attitude of the characters along with great sound effects and background music. In this title, whatever they've done with all these elements just doesn't add up to the same charming experience as previous outings.

Movement in one general direction collecting objects is gone and replaced with a free roaming enviornment. I didn't see very good clues telling you what you are supposed to doing or going next. The 3D environment makes it challenging to perform the classic crash moves of spinning or bouncing on top of enemies with accuracy although I suppose you might get used to that over time.

It is really easy to die in this game, and it took us 3 or 4 attempts to get past the first level. At first I sort of liked the music but after roaming around trying to figure out where to go the music got irritating and seemed to loop pretty often. The graphics are attractive, but are missing the previous version's style & polish. In the previous titles, Crash was very expressive and you could see a sort of dumb look on his face. That type of thing seems to be missing in Twinsanity. Even collecting the fruit is less fun, the satisfying slurppy sound is gone and the fruit doesn't always fly across the screen into your fruit count.

To sum up, with all the great platform games out there, there is just no reason to buy this one, especially at full price. Pick up Jax II or Rachet & Clank Going Commando (or both) off the Greatest Hits shelf.

Crash Bandicoot Twinsanity was a great game. It had crash and as always his archenemy Dr. Neo Cortex. This game was better than a lot of the other Crash Bandicoot games because there was no warp room. You could just keep going and changing levels when you got to a certain point and you would even notice you did change levels. It's awesome how you can beat up Cortex the entire game and it's awesome that he actually helps you complete levels. The pictures are a little different as you can tell by the front cover but this game is great for any Crash lovers.
