I don't know why people are ragging on the new cd. If the band sounds a little different that's a good thing. It keeps 'em from going stale. This cd is awesome. It's buy far one of my favorites and Nekromantix is the greatest psychobilly band ever.

At first this album did not jump out of the speakers and slap me in the face. However, after the fourth or fifth hearing I started to wake-up in the middle of the night hearing "Ghoulina" playing in my head! This album provides some high quality psycho-billy and implants its sound inside your memory to enjoy, say...while you sleep.

Yeah, they are good, but before you buy this album u should be sure what u want really. If you are into psychobilly or a newbie at this stuff it would be ok for you, but if you are a professional psychobilly listener pick another album of Nekro or some other bands, u cant find loud voices or bass like u can hear on HorrorPops albums, but somehow this album has good songs that u will love undoubtly. Good for archive as well with pretty album design =)

Aside from the Reverend Horton Heat, the Nekromantix are not only the most creative, but also most talented Psychobilly band of all time. These guys have not put out a bad album (well okay, Hellbound wasn't that great but that was pretty early). If you like Batmobile, Demented Are Go, Tiger Army or any other Psychobilly and have not checked these guys out yet... do so. Peter Sandorff is an amazing guitar player and Kim Nekroman knows how to slap the coffin bass as well as the best of them. Make sure to dog-ear June the 29th Cats and Kittens, not only do we get a new Tiger Army album, but most importantly of all, a very brand new Reverend Horton Heat album! So grease up the pompadours and wax the ol' hot rod, it's lookin' to be a very Rockabilly year!

I have every Nekromantix record. I love them on CD and live. They're just an amazing band. "Dead Girls Don't Cry" is nothing short of their usual greatness! If you enjoy the Nekro boys, get this record. You will love it for sure! Every song is awesome. Nekroman's bass leads you through a journey of psycho tales. Peter rocks his guitar hard with a chilling sound, and Kristian keeps a steady beat to back all of these awesome psychobilly songs.
Also, check out the new Tiger Army record, Tiger Army III: Ghost Tigers Rise, which comes out this summer! It will rock as well.
