Ok, but the leaves are a little too big and woody. Some of them are even a little brown like they are old. I probably would not buy this brand again and would by fresh if I can find it or a better known brand such as Spice Islands or McCormicks. I purchased the Frontier brand because the other two brands I just mentioned were either not available or too expensive.

Also, I have purchased Frontier products before and they we're fine, but the Tarragon is just too woody and not so fresh.

Spices that are fresh can mean the difference between blah and gourmet when it comes to preparing meals. Not all bottled spices are the same... the way a spice is dried, packaged, etc really makes a difference. This Frontier brand of Tarragon is wonderful! As soon as I removed the seal from the wonderful glass jar I could smell the wonderful aroma of "fresh" tarragon (in it's dried state of course). I think this is some of the best tarragon I have ever tried and well worth the price.
