My now 20-month-old has loved this video for several months, since he became obsessed with peek-a-boo. It's not non-stop peek-a-boo but enough to satisfy his need. The music and acting is pleasant and realistic, not overly dramatic or annoying for grown ups. It shows scenes of babies and toddlers playing peek-a-boo, parents singing to their kids (e.g., wheels on the bus, you are my sunshine, etc.), cartoon segments, and nature scenes (which don't really fit with the theme of games/songs/play but what the heck, my son loves it all).

15 month old baby watched these for a few minutes at a time, but he kept walking off. Too much animation. Didn't hold his attention well. He likes to see real babies and kids in his shows. We've had much better luck getting him interested in Baby Bumblebee videos (all of them favorites from 4 months to 12 months especially Crazy for Colors, Opposites, All About Me, Vocab 1-5, Action Words 1-3...favorites after turning 1 year were Question Words, Olivia & Otis, and Around the House 1-3), Baby Nick Jr. Curious Buddies dvds (especially At the Beach, Helping At Home, and Lets Move...Farm & Park ones for younger babies), Talking Hands dvd (a favorite since we got it when he was 13 months), and Signing Times (all of them hold his attention well).

My two toddlers (almost 3) and 20 months LOVE these Brainy Baby videos. They never liked the Baby Einstein series, but these ones hold their interest for hours--- if I would let them, that is! The show is a wonderful length-- 45 minutes, I think, and features lots of different toys, babies and toddlers playing "peek a boo" using the toys or objects. Full of smiles and surprises! Narrated by a woman's voice who is easy to understand and has lots of energy in her voice.
