I had planned to use these as an educational tool. The magnets in the horseshoe are very weak and were barely able to pick anything up. When it did, it would only pick up 1 item...one small magnetic chip at that. It couldn't even pick up multiple paper clips. The seller was great though, and I had no problems returning the item.

These magnets are great for small hands because of the large handles. With younger students you can hide items like large washers or metal jar lids in packing peanuts to have them explore with magnets in the science area without having to worry about choking hazards. The students in my class loved these magnets, even used the magnets, washers, and jar lids to stamp and paint with one day!

I got these horseshoes to use as a teaching tool for children to hold as "reins" and match colors with a PVC pole of the same color that the horseshoes can be dropped over, they are bright colored and high quality plastic with a good surface to grip. nice size for small hands. I am very pleased with them.
