I love Cajun music, but sometimes I find the vocals a little . . . relentless. One of my favorite Cajun CDs is a cheap collection I picked up in a drugstore on Canal Street 18 years ago, and one of the reasons it's a favorite is that it has a couple of instrumentals on it. So I bought this one and I really love it. The instrumentals put me in a nostalgic mood (which is good!).

I've been hooked on Cajun music ever since seeing the movie "The Big Easy" years ago. Jo-El Sonnier is a great. I bring his music up on my I-Pod and just let it play over and over while I'm working in my shop.
