Easy to calibrate and accurate. I also purchased the calibration fluid and you can calibrate the unit by just sticking the probe into the packet of fluid. Fast and easy.

This is designed for continual use. However, I use it once/week to check the pH of horticultural solutions. Then, I return the probe back into its sealed receptacle for six days. The equipment works very well, with only about 0.02 pH points of drift from one week to the next.

If you were to use the probe this way, you will probably want to get a little potassium chloride for you return the probe to storage. And when I say "little," I mean that about 10 grams will last you a loooong time.

Works great, stays accurate. I've had it for 2 months plus. I like that you calibrate it with 7 and 10, not just 4 and 7 pH calibration fluid.

I use it to continuously monitor my 20 gal FW tank. Calibration was VERY easy and instructions were very clear. Only wish more cal solution came with the meter since you can't save it after use. But you can order more, so not an issue. LOVE IT!!!

Not really worth the money. Once calibrated, this pH monitor works well enough for the next use, but for point point accuracy (within the manufacturer's estimate) it requires calibration before each use. I think that this ph monitor is best for use in an aquarium, a pool, hydroponics, or in any situation in which you need to monitor ph constantly without removing the probe from the liquid. It does not work so well as instrument used to measure the ph of different liquids by dipping the probe into each liquid because it seems to require calibration each time it is used on a different liquid.
To be honest, for most uses, you would be better off using litmus paper strips, or a chemical test.

*Update: For a while, the device performed well enough and gave stable readings, providing that it was calibrated before each use, but after nearly six months of use, it started giving spurious readings and obviously incorrect results, and even calibration did not help. For example, even when properly calibrated, it gave three different readings for a sample of white vinegar (ph 2.3) with readings ranging from 1 to 14. Sometimes the reading fluctuates so wildly that it is impossible to even get a reading of the ph of a gallon of tap water (which for my location ranges from ph 7.5 to 8.5). Sometimes, if I were to believe this device, hydrochloric acid is pumped out of my faucet by the water company! Yet sometimes it is very accurate when tested against a known ph or another method of measuring ph.

I suspect that the device itself works well but the probe is fragile and unstable, and needs replacement. I have bought a replacement probe (2/1/15) and will see how that performs. I'll update this review after I've calibrated and tested this new probe for a while.

With this it just takes a glance to check on the pH level. I no longer have to check it with a test kit. It has made it so I can now estimate when pH adjustments need to be made.

running 24/7 in salt water tank only have to check the calibration monthy and is always with in 0.05 which is good for what I need to check. Calibration takes some time, that's way I only gave it 4 starts

**Update - manufacturer told me the probes last about 18 months before needing to be replaced, so I'll need to drop $40 to replace the probe. Seems pricey to have to do that every 18. Might look for alternatives that might last longer. **

Was working great. Seems to have an internal connection issue now. Wiggle the BNC and the cable and get a reading that is way off. Hold the cable straight and still and get a good reading. I think the connection on the circuit board is maybe coming loose or not making good contact. Emailed AM about a warranty. Better work longer than a year for $90.
