Ok, so what do ya want for a buck? As a cheaply priced stone this is just perfect and will get you by, but it has very uneven air flow. I bought 2 of these and got the same result: Air bubbles up through the first couple inches from the inlet, but then no air bubbles get to the other end of them. And, I tested these on a couple different pumps including a 15 liter/minute Hydrofarm pump. If you are just looking for cheap bubbles, you can't go wrong with this. But if you are looking for something for your beautiful high-dollar aquarium then spend the extra dollars on a different product.

I'm using this for a 5 gallon corner tank. It works in that it puts out bubbles. However, the air doesn't get more than 1/3 of the way through the airstone. I've been running the airstone about a month now and it hasn't improved. Furthermore, rather than the air flowing throughout the stone, there are some larger holes that push out large bubbles making it rather noisy.

However, it accomplishes my purpose for aerating and getting the water in the tank moving more. In the future though, I'll look for something else.
