I have an idea: let's build a crappy impeller that will break after a year of use so that we can sell tons of replacement impellers. This is what Hagen must of thought up in their business meeting on how to increase long-term profits, because these stupid impellers always break!!!!! And of course they won't just sell the 2 cent plastic part that breaks, they will only sell you the whole assembly!!!! Oink Oink!!!

Bought a used one but works well in the noicy old AquaClear 802. The impeller assembly which is the only moving parts in AquaClear Powerhead 70/802 was the most probable cause of the excessive noice and vibration, but of course there are other parts such as hardened hoses, suction cups, lose connectors and etc can add the complexity to the problem. It's good to have a spare impeller assembly around. .

I bought this to replace a worn out Impeller in one of my Aquaclear 70 Powerheads and this is an exact replacement of what came in mine from the store. It was very easy to take the old one out and replace it with this Impeller Assembly.
