for the fish lover like myself, this is just a temporary setup. these fish live in a 46 gallon planted tank. I just fed the fish an hour before, but I'm planning on changing the water today, so I added a little treat for these guys.

I was a little worried at first about the large size of this container but I decided to take a chance. I just put some of the new flakes into one of my smaller containers to make it easier to handle and the inner bag is resealable.

Good quality general purpose fish food for most fish.

I have been using this as my main food supplement for years with great success. The flakes are nice and large, not usually broken down too much.

Most fish get what nutrition then require from this flake, but adding in other foods like mealworms or food specific to a fish you are keeping is still suggested, both for variety and for quality of diet.

I know my loaches love when I get a batch of snails in the tank - one of their favorite foods. But they will still eat the flakes that make it to the bottom along with needing an occasional bottom tablet.

My favorite food for my fish. I have guppies, platies, plecs, cory catfish, tetras, gourami, and several other varieties. something in the mix for all. Fish are not all in the same tank. But each tank has inhabitants who love the Tetramin flakes.

So, I decided to check Amazon to see if there were any with Prime shipping, for a good price, with good reviews. I found this TetraMin Tropical Flakes item that met all of my needs. It came quickly, my fish are still alive (4 year old tetras), and I was happily surprised at how large this container is. I guess I didnt pay attention to the size when I ordered, or figured my last bottle (that I paid more for) was the same.
Overall a great deal, for great fish food.

If you have a lot of fish, this is the way to go. So far, this is the largest tropical fish flake food container I've been able to find. I have a 75 gallon and 10 gallon fish tank, with about 30-40 larger fish combined, and this food keeps them happy. It doesn't dirty the water as badly as other foods, although if you don't have bottom feeders, it will begin to rot in your gravel. I crunch this up to a thin powder for my baby fish too, and it's contributed to their growth
