I have multiple pairs of Wigwam socks and love them. So I was a little surprised to notice after a few washings that the fabric was really pilling up around the toes, and its slowly coming apart. Not sure if I got a bad pair, but I'm going to stay away from buying the Cool-lite hikers from here on out.

I bought these and other Wigwam socks for an upcoming month long trip to Iceland via the Middle East. This is just a warning for potential buyers that these are sized rather small. I wear size 46 (Euro) 11 (UK) 12 (US) shoes and expected the size (12-15 US) I bought in both the Wigwam's Cool-Lite Pro Crew and also the Wigwam Hiking Pro, to be more than enough. However both styles have virtually identical sizing and they only just fit me heel to toe, being rather tight on my calf too (I have rather muscular calves from a lot of hiking), so if your feet/calves generally fit my profile then I'd advise always buying another size up, though that wouldn't have been possible in my case !

Not sure I can really tell if they are COOL (temperature wise) or not. They do seem to come apart and ball up a bit. After a some washing and wearing, I can't imagine they wouldn't develop holes after a while. Not worth the cost, IMO.

My husband works in an autobody shop and is standing most of the day on a concrete floor, working at least 14 hours a day. His feet always hurt a lot, so along with finding a quality comfortable boot he's been looking for socks that fit well, have good cushioning, and don't leave his feet sweaty and uncomfortable. After trying a few and reading about the features of them, I decided to try a pair of these, and if they worked out I'd order several more pairs. He wears a 14-15 size shoe, so these seemed the proper size socks to buy with the features he was looking for. At this point he'll pay almost any price to just to get good socks. He can't comment on whether or not the socks live up to the qualities they are claimed to have, because he couldn't even get the sock onto his foot because they were so tight! I don't understand it because they seem to have good reviews. He literally could not pull the sock onto his foot due to the extreme tightness. Although he's a big guy guy at 6'2", he is medium build-not overweight at all, and doesn't have heavy legs, ankles, etc-just normal. We had to return them and did get the refund without any problem, but really disappointed they weren't even large enough to get on. ;-(

We bought 2 different colors of socks for my dad with same F6067 number. However, black ones were made differently than grey ones. The grey ones had thinner material on top of the foot which made them cooler, but my dad prefers the black ones that are little less cool with thicker layers on top. So please beware of the differences. They may look the same, but depending on color they are made slightly differently. And I don't see anything on the site that shows there are any differences between these socks.

These Wigwam socks fit good and usually are of good quality. Occasionally I get a pair where the weave starts unraveling inside the sock. When you get them save the cardboard sleeve they came in. In case you need to return the socks you must also include the original packaging. I'm stuck with a defective pair that I can't return because I threw out the card they came in.

These are the most durable socks you will ever own.
Soft, cool and comfortable. I am still wearing identical ones that have been washed and worn for YEARS!
Remember to check the wigwam size chart as they are unisex and based on shoe size.

Backpacked through Europe for a month with a few pairs of these socks and I highly recommend them. I had no foot issues whatsoever and they dry quickly which is key for backpacking. I would wash them in the shower, hang them up to dry overnight, and they would be ready to go by the next morning. Buy a few pairs and youll be set for any amount of walking.
