For $14 I'm not going to complain. These wall bracket work well enough. They are not state of the art, neither are they designed to look elegant which is why I'm not giving it 5 stars. They are just simple, plastic, 90 deg angle brackets that screw into the wall. I used 2 1/2" wood screws to secure the brackets into a wood block. Used a couple of washers because I wanted to make sure the screws did not go into the holes of the bracket cause they are kind of big. I secured the wood block into the wall by screwing it into the studs. I had to do this because the width of my projector was wider than the stud width. Now the projector looks like it's pretty far from the wall, but at least it's up, it's secure, and it looks pretty good.

These are stronger than they look. My projector screen is about 84" diagonally and it's a pull down unit. It probably weighs about 20 lbs. I can pull on on brackets up and down, left and right and it is still secure. I don't know why at least one reviewer said that it was stable holding the projector vertically but wasn't as stable from side to side. That's a bunch of horse hockey. It's just as stable side to side as it is up and down. I don't know where these reviewers come up with this stuff.

I would not recommend these brackets if you had a 75 pound screen. I don't know what that guy was thinking. If I spent that much money on a screen I would actually spend a little and get some decent brackets. I think these brackets are just fine for people like me who are on a budget and just need something simple to install and use. If someone like me can install this, then anyone can. I think the heaviest screen I would try to hang would be maybe 35 lbs. I think these brackets could hold that with no problems.

I used the 6in. brackets (they come as a pair by the way, which is not obvious from the add. - in any case you need two to provide adequate support).
I'm hanging a 75in. Da-lite screen from these babies - IMHO (if everthing is engineered correctly by the user, such that all forces on the brackets are directed downward, as gravity intended, and there are no side forces) these brackets are more than adequate for their intended purpose (any suggestions from other, presumably non-engineers, to the contrary, notwithstanding). Yes they're plastic, but unless you're in the habit of swinging from them they will do the job for which they were intended.

I purchased these brackets to hold up a 96" X 96" projection screen for our local football team. Several people who have left reviews for this product have complained because it doesn't provide any mounting hardware. The problem with this is the company would have to provide hardware for so many different applications because they don't have a clue as to what kind of material your going to be mounting it to. As for me the wall was made of wood and I purchased 4 lag bolts for about a dollar. This worked great. It hold the screen great and I have had no problems what so ever.

The support were strong and enabled the 70in screen to be mounted and clear the curtain rods in our living room. Easy to put up and use. The downside is that it does not come with any mounting screws or anything. It took me some time to find the right screws to use and appropriate washers. Unless you can screw into wood studs you need to get some screw in fastners with about a 3inch screw.

This is a simple plastic angle brace for hanging a projector screen. It has a steel eye hook and S hook for hanging the screen. It seems to be of good quality and appropriate strength. It comes with no wall mounting hardware or screws, so expect to provide 2.5" to 3" into studs or something comparable.

No problems, though I worry a bit whether it might weaken over time.

Easy to install. But you will need to add a board between the dry wall and the anchors for more rigidity. I had to use longer screws with drywall anchors and had to use wide washers so the screw heads didn't fall through.

I didn't use a board, it's sturdy enough.

I recently purchased these brackets, they are great!! Great price too!!! I purchased them because I just installed a 92" projector screen into my living room, the wall has a window with curtains so the brackets extended the screen out far enough,so I could keep the curtains as a decorative look when the screen isn't in use. The brackets are very strong and sturdy.

What I can't understand is why a couple of people are pissing and moaning over the fact that these brackets didn't come with mounting hardware. "Common Sense" of course the company is not going to supply hardware, there are so many uses for this product, some people might use this product at a workplace or school, some might use this product at home like I did and others might use this product for other uses. How is the company suppose to know what you need and what your ideas are? Even if they happend to supply every piece of hardware that they think you need, this would cause the price to increase and all the people already complaining to complain more because of higher price so Get Over it!!

I went to my local Home Depot and bought a box of 2 1/2" dryway screws and 4 washers, I had my 92" screen up in 10 minutes, Its honestly not rocket science.
