I have been using this product for a while and although IMHO it is very good, it wasn't the magic bullet I had hoped for with and IBS cat. I still use this product with every feeding (and I just ordered more) along with pro and pre biotics. After pulling my hair out with this little guy for so long, with vomiting, and loose stools and not wanting to eat, I found a combination of things that are working. We're still on the journey, but he is eating, not vomiting and diarrhea seems to be gone. I've started a blog about this journey if anyone is interested. I started buying this product for my cats after reading about how the body is less able to digest food and obtain health benefits from it due to age (most of my cats are 8 years plus) and the effects of cooked food in general (cooking destroys natural enzymes). I am happy to say that my cats are all very healthy at their ages and those who had a tendency to yak up hair balls and undigested food are doing so MUCH less frequently (every once in a while versus daily). This has also decreased my use of paper towels and laundry soap. :)

My vet prescribed digestive enzymes for my 8-year-old cat Bert, who suffers from irritable bowel disease. We tried many different feline enzymes (and spent a lot of money on them) before finding one Bert would actually eat mixed in with his food. The white powder is completely odorless and apparently tasteless, and it is the only enzyme product I am able to get into him. It has helped him a great deal. He's slowly started gaining back some weight, and his digestive upset episodes are much less frequent. There are other quality cat enzymes available, but I highly recommend Dr. Goodpet Feline Enzymes if you are having trouble getting your taste-sensitive cat to eat his enzymes. I should also mention that all 3 of my cats will eat it in their food, a true testament to its being pallitable!

I use this powder in addition to the grain-free dry food to help my cat digest his food. I just add it to the dry food and the white powder lightly coats the kibble. There really is no odor or smell to it, my cats could definitely see there was a difference, but haven't stopped eating their food because of it. No more diarrhea or gas issues with my IBS cat, I highly recommed this product over the forti flora packets.

My sphynx cat has had a sensitive stomach and struggled with food allergies for quite awhile. She had been having some vomiting. Out of desperation we tried this product. She gets it in her canned food and her dry. It has made a huge difference in her health. No more vomiting, consistently normal stools. She eats her food better. Supposedly there is no flavor, but she seems to like the taste of her food more now. She is on a prescription diet and gets the same food every day, so I know this is the only thing that has changed. Her skin is better as well. I would recommend this to anyone struggling with feline IBS or diet sensitivity.

I re-ordered this product. It is helping my 14 years old cat, sick with Inflammatory Bowel Disease or Crohn;s disease and very possibly also with pancreatic deficiency. As you probably know, one important function of the pancreas is to supply the digestive track with digestive enzimes. When because of age and immunological problems the pancreas is not working right, these product helps the animal digest better the food. I mix the product with normal wet cat food. The product is totally tasteless and odorless. Even the extremely fine cat senses will not pick it up or notice it at all.
