I bought a pair of these... Dificult to mount, and too light weight to not vibrate wildly even with every boly fully torqued. Vibration at 55 MPH was so bad that the mirrors were useless. Fender mounts place the mirror too far away. I ended up buying door mount mirrors that are much better.

This item just did not work for us!

First, the directions for putting it together are printed very small and are quite difficult to follow.

Second, wonce on our tow vehicle, we spent a great deal of time arranging the mirror for towing. Before we left the drive way, gravety pulled the mirror toward the ground. Repeatedly, we would stop, tighten the screws/bolts, and within a mile we had a good view of the road. Even after our trip, the hour I spent trying to tighten the mirror proved pointless.

Needless, to say, we towed out pop-up without extended mirrors. Unfortunately, we cannot recommend this mirror for purchase.

Item is not very sturdy. Mounting on the car's fender, in my case a Jeep fender, places the mirrors so far away that the Jeeps door mirror is much better than these add-on fender mounted mirrors. I intended to use for viewing the trailer I am towing. Might work better on other cars. Not unhappy with product, just did not work well for me on a 1995 Jeep Grand Cherokee.

I bought a pair of these mirrors and was less than happy with them. The instructions were hard to see on the box and they were damaged when I tightend the hardware because the holes do not live up properly. Very cheaply made. After I redrilled the holes and bought new bolts from the hardware store they tightend up better and actually work pretty good. So only get if you are willing to do extra work getting the installed properly....

The description indicated it fit’s all car and trucks all except my ford full size PU a miners alteration will make it work
RE: the lower arm is way to short to reach the wheel well
By removing the lower arm hand screw and replace it with a ¼-20
The tapped hole is metric, the ¼ 20 will be tight but it will work and lock it’s self to the upper turn buckle, adjust the turn buckle to best fit you truck or car, use a bungee to hold it in place, it works fine for me,,,

I purchased this mirror as a replacement for the same mirror I purchased about 8 years ago. I needed to replace the mirror as the finish had rusted. Perhaps a bit more hefty chrome finish would be in order, otherwise the mirror looks fine and works great. I also replaced the mirror head with a fisheye mirror as I'm using this fender mount as a towing mirror and the fisheye head gave me a bit better visibility.

The product is good quality but instructions were nearly non-existent and it took 2 fairly intelligent people almost an hour to put them together. And, unfortunately, this is the 3rd supposed universal mount towing mirror I have tried and it didn't work. My pickup has a newer type hood that cannot be hooked onto, I guess as anti-theft device. I also have nowhere to hook it onto the tire well. It was an exercise in futility. Very frustrating and I still don't have towing mirrors!
