There is nothing wrong with these products but you would probably be better off with Prime. Stress coat contains amines that can bind chlorine to form chloramine and really be bad, if you avoid polymer filters like purigen it really shouldn't be a problem.

Beta is thriving 2 weeks later in a tank with no pump. Water changes using tap water. Been feeding him blood worms. Seems happy.
