My adult male ball python (3 1/2 feet long, 1135 grams) fits nicely in these hides. Their weight prevents him from pushing them all over his enclosure while he is out nosing around at night like he would with is old plastic hides. The natural, rocky appearance is also nice.

I got the Extra Large cave for my 5 ft corn snake, Francis. Francis loves it and is curled up inside right now. It is a nice upgrade from his baby-sized shelter which he would still try to fit as many coils under as possible with some comic effect. I was a bit concerned when reading some of the feedback on my item that it would be delivered by Ace Ventura, but it was instead delivered in perfect condition and quite early by FedEx.
