We had the bear toy and our bulldog puppy happily demolished it . Bought the buffalo as a replacement; it has now been happily demolished as well! These are great for a powerful, teething puppy such as the bulldog. Very soft and ethically made we have no worries with this toy as its being chewed into tiny pieces.

The leather is very thin (<1/16 "). The inside looks like burlap, or something similar. It is stuffed with a stuffing that seems to have small hard shards (something like metal filings, or hard plastic filings) that some dogs might have trouble with if ingested. My border collie had this torn up in less than a week.

This was destroyed by our golden doodle puppy within the hour. She loved it, but it wasn't as durable as I'd hoped and it was filled with a courser kind of material, not the clean white fluff I've come to expect out of dog toys.

I bought one of these and my dog was able to chew a foot off in about 15 seconds. And she is not a powerful chewer. Still has year old nylabones that don't look worn. Look for a different toy before buying this one.

When I first seen the toy I was amazed at how big it really was. I gave it to my aggressive chewer and noticed within 30 mins she had chewed off the legs. I give this toy three days before I have to toss it! Not worth the money!

Stuffing is not listed on the label, yet when our puppy bit through it, an amazing amount of stuffing came out. Looks like dryer lint, with pieces of either tinsel or metallic threads in it, sequins, nylon-looking mesh material and very small cotton or polyester pieces. A potential gastric disaster.

I picked up two of the Dura Fused leather buffalo toys on the clearance rack at Tractor Supply for about three bucks each last week. They are a decent size (8" long) for a big dog. Our Ridgebacks aren't actually very interested in these and have ignored them. The goofy Plott Hound seems to like them and has knawed the legs off both buffalo toys. The inside stuffing is a coarse, grey material - fortunately, Traveler has no interest in swallowing it. I would not leave these toys with puppies though.

This is essentially two pieces of leather that have been joined. While my dogs (Rhodesian Ridgebacks) chewed on it nicely for about 30 minutes, they soon decided it was food and ate it quickly while I wasn't looking. I don't plan to buy this again.
