I have trouble finding plants that work well in a 1 gallon drum bowl. They are too tall, too short, or look terribly fake.

I was able to pull the stems through the bottom of the base, snip off the excess stem, and heat the plastic to reset the plant in the base. The plant is very thick and bushy so my betta can hide among the leaves or rest on the broad leaves near the top of the bowl. Yay!

I really like this plant even though I had reservations after I decided to order it.

The colors do not look as good or vivid as when it is out of the water but after you wash it and leave it in the tank for a few days it really starts to show how beautiful it is and how much color, life and dimension it gives to a tank.

The tints of burgundy at the tips and in parts of the roots really make the plant look alive almost and help with blending it with other colorful plants you might want to add to your tank.

I am very pleased with the quality as well although I would have liked to see the base a little heavier so that it can hold it self a little better under the gravel instead of having to place rocks or a lot of gravel on it so it can stay down.

The different shades of green also do not limit you to what other plants you can put in the tank because it almost has all the shades in it so blending is a breeze again.

I definitely recommend it and would buy it again.

When this arrived, it was all bent over and a large branch was broken off. I amost sent it back, but the tank it is for is only 7 gallons and it houses just a betta and two guppies with a couple other hiding places already in the tank. Maybe I would've cut a branch off anyway, so I kept it. I have tried keeping live plants unsuccefully in this tank. It has both an underground and a surface filter. I finally gave up on them and bought this. It's actually pretty nice in the tank. It brings out my betta's colors. I hate the phony back side of the leaves and the "plant" I recieved doesn't really stand up, like the photo shows. It sort of flops over (maybe the packing) but, my fish seem to like it and that is my biggest concern.

Not a fan of this plant. I think a spray adhesive was used to glue leaves to the stems. Once the plant made contact with water the back of the leaves became slimy. I am glad I tried to clean the plant first, I don't know what the glue would have done to the water. 7 of the leaves came off their stems while cleaning and many of them are not glued on centered, it is just sloppy work.
I am very disappointed this had such potential.
What I really like about it is the nodes of leaves are adjustable so you can move them up and down the stalk and make it look the way that fits your tank best. Each node has three leaves, on one of the plant stalks is 7 nodes, on the middle stalk is 10 nodes and on the other is 5 nodes.
Not using, Not worth returning....you get what you pay for.

The colors are nice. Weighted bottom keeps it firmly where you put it. The plant stems aren't too sturdy. It definitely droops more than stands (which I actually like). We use in a 10 gallon tank. One side of our tank shows a lot of reflection, which irritates our Betta. So having this plant on that side works well to break up the reflection. Leaves are soft and clean easily with a cloth or a quick rinse.

Color wise, it pairs nicely with the Penn Plax Foregrounder Hydro Polysperma we have in the tank.

It is very soft for my fish fins and I gave it a 4 star because it is not as stiff in the water as I would have liked. The leaves float down and do not stay upright at all unless I prop them by entwining one or two of the longer leaves in another much sturdier plant behind and somewhat angled behind it. Does the trick for now. As long as my fish are happy with it then I am happy! :)

I bought this plant, and it's still in my tank, but I'm not happy with it and plan to remove it.

While from a distance it looks semi-real, closer inspection shows loose strands of material
floating around from the leaves. All my shrimp pretty much seem to avoid going near it. It
doesn't seem harmful at all, and it was very inexpensive... but I feel like it's just cheap and will
soon replace it with something else.

I bought this for my African dwarf frog and apple snail tank, since I KNOW my apples won't eat plastic plants. The frogs love it and hide in the leaves and at the base. The leaves are soft enough that I'm not worried about them hurting anyone in the tank. Very pretty, and realistic enough that nobody has noticed that I have one fake plant in my aquarium.
