..and those three things are:

1) mix
2) Mix; and
3) MIX

Seriously, this "glue" will stick together just about any two items but it needs to be properly combined first. I think of it as kneading rather than mixing and here's what I do:

I put globs from each of the bottles next to each other on a sheet of paper (more on the paper later). I have them close but not touching because I don't want to accidentally touch the tip of the second bottle to the glob from the first.

Then I take an ice cream stick or toothpick, depending on how much I'm using, push the globe together, and mash everything flat. Then I continue mashing for a full minute. After that, I scrape up the mixed glue and apply it.

The paper you pick is important. Absorbent paper is a very bad idea. An extreme in "bad" would be using a paper towel. Glossy paper is a good choice. I use the pages from a magazine.

In fact, I have a magazine dedicated to gluing that I keep with my Quik-clue bottle. Back to process, I open it, place what I'm gluing on the left page, mix on the right, and apply. I leave the toothpick (or ice cream stick) sitting in what's left of the glue. When I see it's firmly stuck to the page I know that what I'm gluing is done too. For cleanup I close the magazine. Next time I open it to the first "clean" page and I'm good to go.

BTW, I feel that honest, effective reviews can take the place of first-hand experiences that are lacking in online shopping. I've always appreciated the help I've received from other reviewers and work hard to return the favor as best as I can. I hope you found this review helpful and if there was anything you thought was missing or unclear leave a comment and I'll do what I can to fix it.

I have been using two part epoxy since I was a teenager(don't even ask how long ago that was!). I've always bought it in the standard syringe tubes. I had never been able to dispense just the right amount of part A and Part B as the syringe would inevitably shoot out more of one than the other. I also found I was always using far more product than I needed as the epoxy kept coming out until you pulled back on the syringe plungers.

With the two separate bottles, I can get as much or as little product as I want and in equal amounts. Plus, at 9 ounces total, compared to the syringes, it works out to $2.90 per ounce instead of $5.00 per ounce. Seems like a no brainer to me.
[Edited to clarify error per input from another member].

The only question is, does it work? I have used it extensively since purchasing the product and it holds every bit as well as any other epoxy I have ever used.

I have to warn - when it says Quick it means QUICK!!! Three minutes tops. I did not "snip" off the top, I used a small nail to puncture into the middle of the nozzle. That way I can dispense small amounts. Have your ducks in a row and ready to go before mixing and applying. Three minutes really is a long time if you are prepared before-hand.

For some projects only epoxy will do what is needed. I've used more expensive epoxy solutions before but never felt like the value was there. Because Quik-cure has relatively large amounts of both parts the value is definitely there now. I will always keep this stuff around now.

Your working time is less than the stated five minutes, even though it doesn't fully harden for awhile. It will cease to be workable at the 3-4 minute point, so make sure your preparations are all set before you mix.

Can't find this in local stores. It's a great epoxy - strength and working time are nicely balanced. A big selling point is that you can use this epoxy down to the last drops. The bottles are excellent dispensers - no mess, accurate amounts, easy storage.

I started using this epoxy many years ago when building radio controlled model airplanes. I got out of the hobby, but kept using this product for many, many household repairs. It is easy to mix in very small quantities, hardens quickly, and is generally stronger than the materials it is holding together. It is much better than the typical glues you find at hardware stores. Highly recommended.

This is the last time I need to buy epoxy. We have enough to last us well into retirement and might still have some left over to leave as inheritance.

No more messy syringe type tubes that mix as it dispenses rendering the unit useless after it hardens. Definitely not an issue with this, since the tubes are separate.

The boxes you get from Amazon are a good choice to use for mixing this glue. Rip off a piece and mix thoroughly and apply to virtually anything. The box doesn't absorb too much. You cold also use a piece of junk mail. That would come in handy for this too.

The other reviews are correct about this glue drying quickly. It worked well for a suitcase repair I did where I had to hold together pieces of a plastic frame under tension while the glue set. I found that I could let the glue sit for about 2 minutes after mixing, then quickly apply it, hold the pieces together for another 6-7 minutes, relax my grip of bit, and then stop after 10 minutes total from mix time. It helped to have a timer in front me while I held the pieces together. If you get the glue on your fingers while you are holding the pieces, you should move them around a bit to prevent them from sticking fast. After I released my grip on the repaired object, I immediately cleaned my fingers with acetone and then soap and water -- glue removal was easy if attended to quickly.
